What is evergreen content?
An article can be marked as evergreen if it will be continually relevant to your subscribers. Evergreen articles will be placed by the AI in your newsletter when you might not meet the minimum article requirements to send a newsletter or when a given evergreen article is particularly relevant to a given individual subscriber. An evergreen article will only cycle into a subscriber's newsletter if that person hasn't seen - or clicked on - the article within several months. It's a great idea to mark your own internal, cornerstone articles or blogs as evergreen. You also might want to designate an article as evergreen if it is particularly relevant to your brand, industry, or subscriber base.
Marking articles as evergreen
On the upcoming articles page, simply click the 3-dot menu on the far right of an article you want to designate as evergreen, and select 'Mark Evergreen' next to the tree.
Reviewing your evergreen content
You can review your evergreen articles and choose remove the evergreen designation from a given article at any time. Simply go to the Evergreen page in the dashboard to view a comprehensive list of your evergreen articles. To remove the evergreen designation from an article, just click the tree to the right of the article. When the tree is dark grey, it is no longer evergreen.
