Every file you upload to rasa.io — to any list, any time — is recorded here. This article covers how to use the Imports page to track and troubleshoot your imports.
How to get there
Go to Settings → Imports.
You'll see a table listing every import across your account, with the most recent at the top.
What you'll see
The table shows:
- Source — which list or collection the file was uploaded to
- File — the actual file name
- Status — Completed (green) or Failed (red)
- Completed — when the import finished
- Created — when the import was started
- Actions — a Download button to grab the original file
You can also search across imports by file name or source name.
When to use this page
Verifying a recent import succeeded.
After uploading a file, check here to confirm it shows as Completed.
Troubleshooting a failed import.
If an import shows as Failed, you can download the original file to inspect it, fix any issues, and re-upload.
Re-downloading a file.
If you've lost track of the file you uploaded months ago, you can download it from here.
Auditing imports across your org.
If you have multiple team members uploading files, this page shows everyone's imports in one place.
Imports vs the per-list view
There are two places to see imports:
- Settings → Imports (this page) — every import across your whole account
- A specific list's detail view → Imports — just the imports for that one list
If you want a list-specific view, go through the list. For the everything view, go here.
Common reasons imports fail
- Invalid file format (must be CSV or Excel)
- Missing email column
- Malformed data (special characters, broken encoding)
- Empty rows or duplicate headers
- File too large
If your import failed, download the file, look at the data, and re-upload after fixing.
If you can't figure out what went wrong, support@rasa.io can help diagnose.
