What is the Content Review Cut-off Time?

The Content Review Cut-Off Time indicates how many hours before your send time you want us to STOP pulling in new articles for your newsletter. This tool will give you a period of time to review the articles that have been pulled into the Upcoming Content page automatically from your sources. During this time, you can boost, and toggle on or off content to ensure that the active and eligible articles for your newsletter are curated and relevant for your subscribers.

Once your cut-off review time period begins, no new articles will appear in the newsletter after the cut-off time unless manually added. Articles published from your sources after the cutoff will appear in your Upcoming Content pool and be eligible for the next newsletter.

On the lower right of the Schedule page, you can access and adjust the Content Review Cut-off Time.

You have the option to elect to receive an email from us informing you that your content review cut-off time begins. We highly recommend opting into receiving this reminder email. To access the option of receiving this email reminder, you can do so by going to Manage Settings > Email Notifications.

For example, if your newsletter is sent every Wednesday at 4:00 pm and you set your cut-off to 4 hours, you will receive an email from us at 12:00 pm reminding you that your content is ready to review. You can make any manual edits (toggling off, adding articles, editing articles, editing your design) up until your newsletter generation time begins. For this example, this cut-off time will only keep articles published between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm out of your content pool so that nothing pulls in without you having a chance to review.
